Character Bio:
Lauren had grown up living with her (practically) single parent mother in the small town of Ventura, California located only an hour away from the giant city of Los Angeles. Her Father was the main source of money in the family and was an extremely hard worker. Lauren rarely saw her father as he was nearly always on some sort of business trip. She could count on one hand the number of birthdays her father had actually attended. However, her father did take very good care of her mother and herself, they were by no means poor but were not rich either. The living arrangements were comfortable, and Lauren never needed anymore than what they had.

As she grew older, she found her passion was in books and writing. Of all the stories, the adventure ones were her favorite; but Lauren was shy and meek, and had no intentions of ever doing anything in the books. She only enjoyed reading them, and never could imagine herself as the main character or even the sidekick. The notion never bothered her at all, she had no interest in being a hero.

Lauren never found it strange that her father was always gone and was shocked to learn that her friends' fathers were actually around, though she never held any resentment for her father. Besides, how could she? She barely knew the man, and at least he remembered her birthdays, if only with a phonecall from some strange country that he was.

She easily passed through Highschool as a straight "A" student, and was even valedictorian. She received multiple scholarships for college and finally opted to go to school at California State University in LA: less than two hours away from home. More often than not, she stayed home rather than at her college and never minded the traffic clogged two hour commute to get there. Lauren had an easy and normal life up until the middle of her first college year when she bumped into Mia Moretti.
